Drag n’ Drop captcha updated

I finally have this released into production environments which will no doubt help me to improve it. There’ve been some updates to the mechanism to dissociate image filenames from the puzzle fields.

Next I need to make the names more variable, and perhaps cache them and generate random permutations. Accessibility remains a concern.

  1. Please feel free to ‘view source’ and/or download the source files from the sample pages.

Formal release of the code is not likely, I don’t have the time to ensure reliability of a wrapped-up version of the CAPTCHA, nor have I the time to address its shortcomings – foremost among them (and other CAPTCHAs) being accessibility concerns.

The Drag n’ Drop CAPTCHA was a proof-of-concept that I’d be very happy to see developed further – thanks for your interest.
