Excellent point about '0' - hadn't even considered that. Did think the other way of only multipling when it contained a 9 but realised that wouldn't be fool-proof.

Please feel free to 'view source' and/or download the source files from the sample pages.

Formal release of the code is not likely, I don't have the time to ensure reliability of a wrapped-up version of the CAPTCHA, nor have I the time to address its shortcomings - foremost among them (and other CAPTCHAs) being accessibility concerns.

The Drag n' Drop CAPTCHA was a proof-of-concept that I'd be very happy to see developed further - thanks for your interest.

I've updated your script to be able to handle percentages as well as pixels (though you have to stay consistent, if you start off with background-position-x being a %, you can't then swap to px).

I'd share it with you, but I can't find your email address on your site. So I guess I'll keep it to myself lol

Loved it. All summed up in one place.. I was fighting a lost cause for about 3 days in a row.. and some notes:
sometimes I get some errors when I chose the method above to generate the sql syntax. I get passed them by using

symfony doctrine:build-all

instead of

symfony doctrine:build-model
symfony doctrine:build-sql
symfony doctrine:insert-sql
symfony doctrine:build-forms
...

I am still wonering why there is no IDE for symfony till now.. :/

but in the end the guide is quite to the point, at least towards what my needs so far were.
Thnx! :)
